O víkendu jsem si vyměnil iPhone 14 Pro za iPhone 16 Pro z programu Alza NEO, kde jsem měl po 2 letech nárok na výměnu.
Nejdříve jsem vše zmigroval na iPhone SE včetně eSIM, což se podařilo během cca hodiny. Původní zařízení si lze ponechat na 3 dny za účelem přenesení dat. Chtěl jsem to ušetřit jednu návštěvu Alzy, ale málem se to nevyplatilo. 🙂
Následná migrace z SE na 16 Pro už totiž tak úspěšná nebyla. U nového handsetu se objevily problémy s aktivací.
Průvodce nastavení tvrdil, že nemá připojení k internetu, i když byl připojen k Wi-Fi, nepomohla ani fyzická SIM karta, ani jiná Wi-Fi (vše bylo samozřejmě funkční).
Nakonec se mi podařilo, po půl dni pokusů, telefon rozchodit pomocí MacBooku a obnovy zálohy z předchozího iPhone 14 Pro.
Po prvním zapnutí iPhonu 16 Pro jsem se dostal do průvodce nastavením. Připojil jsem se k Wi-Fi a očekával, že aktivace proběhne bez problémů. Místo toho se zobrazila chybová hláška, že iPhone nelze aktivovat bez internetového připojení, přestože byl k Wi-Fi připojen.
Po konzultaci problému s ChatGPT, Claude a vyhledávání na Google, kde jsem v několika fórech objevil podobné zkušenosti uživatelů s iPhone 15 a 16 se nakonec podařilo pomocí připojení iPhonu k MacBooku, použitím Finderu handset aktivovat.
Po úspěšné aktivaci jsem se pokusil obnovit zálohu ze svého předchozího iPhone 14 Pro, která v MacBooku byla. Podařilo se to až na druhý pokus.
Následně jsem zaznamenal zvláštní výpadky připojení k internetu, kdy chvíli šel a chvíli ne. Po nějaké době jsem si všiml, že se iOS stále snaží připojovat k VPN. Po od instalování NordVPN appky byl tento problém vyřešen.
Největší problémy byly:
✅ Neúspěšná aktivace přes Wi-Fi – vyřešeno připojením k Macu a aktivací přes Apple Devices App.
✅ Problémy s obnovou zálohy – bylo nutné několikrát restartovat telefon a přihlásit se do iCloudu až po obnovení. V průvodci bylo potřeba vše přeskočit.
✅ Neustálé neúspěšné připojování k VPN – odinstalování NordVPN appky
Toto byl zatím první velký fail, který jsem v Apple světě zažil. Snad na dlouhou dobu poslední. 📱🚀
